Makeup by gray
Shown below are various projects and skillsets used to capture and promote different types of beauty content and products. I have experience in photography and video production, copywriting, graphic design, and storytelling as well as 13 years of pro artistry experience. I was responsible for managing and creating digital marketing strategies that would help to foster the growth and engagement of the @makeupbygray Instagram page.

The images are vivid, colorful and were creatively shot to fit the aesthetic of the Makeup by Gray rebrand.
All images were taken with an iPhone 12 and edited using various photo editing apps.

Videos
The video section of my portfolio showcases a carefully curated collection of my work, highlighting my multifaceted role in the production process. From conceptualization to execution, each piece is a testament to my skills in ideation, scriptwriting, and production. This selection represents a broad spectrum of content, illustrating my capability to craft compelling narratives and visually engaging videos that resonate with diverse audiences.
The first three videos (Personal Story, “What Beauty Means to Me,” and “How To Find The Perfect Foundation”) were a series of videos created for the rollout for an interactive makeup course called “It’s Just Makeup.” All videos were created and distributed through different mediums such as email and social media platforms as a part of the overall marketing strategy to build trust and authority with the Makeup by Gray audience and build anticipation for the course launch.

In my role as the Content Lead at Glamour n’ Glow, I spearheaded email campaigns, penned articles, and guided the rebranding from concept to launch.
I embodied the brand by being the face and on camera presence, managed socials, and crafted/produced engaging visual content, including short and long form videos.
Upon hiring, Glamour n’ Glow was in need of a refresh focused on creating a better UX, brand visibility, site optimization, and an updated look to match their target audience (Gen Z and Millenial women).

Steele derm
Steele derm
Steele Dermatology is a black owned dermatologist and medical practice whom was a potential client that I would’ve provided social media management and content creation services for.
For the proposal, I pitched a social content strategy and a soft rebrand to elevate the look and feel of their social presence to be on par with the upscale experience they provided to their clients.

This mood board presents a similar brand color palette as what currently is being used. However, with higher quality visuals and graphics the current social pages for Steele Derm would feel more modern and sophisticated. Visually, social channels should be eye catching, professionally done, and consistent. Even when using real patients, images and videos should be captured in a way that still maintains the overall aesthetic goals of the feed. Watermarking is highly suggested as well.
